Job Summary

Hands-on security engineering leadership within Okta’s Technology, Data, and Intelligence (TDI) Security team. Embed with engineering and operations to strengthen security across infrastructure, cloud, and business systems, build a centralized security posture analytics program, automate issue tracking and remediation, and leverage AI to scale risk management in a SaaS enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and advance Okta’s Security Posture Management program, including aggregating findings from security tooling across the ecosystem, building dashboards, and driving remediation prioritization and accountability.
•Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines and scoring logic to prioritize vulnerability fixes; coordinate remediation across multiple tooling sources (ISPM, DSPM, Qualys, etc.).
•Configure and operationalize security tools (Snyk, Semgrep, Qualys) to expand scanning coverage across all TDI assets and environments; mentor engineers and admins on security practices.
•Partner with Security and GRC to communicate risk posture and remediation status through metrics and executive dashboards; provide cross-functional guidance on secure design and implementation.
•Drive Automation, AI Development, and Continuous Improvement to scale security posture scanning, reporting, and remediation; design end-to-end automation for AI agent and subagents for remediation workflows.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Security, or SaaS applications within a SaaS or enterprise environment.
•Hands-on expertise in scanning, patching, and remediation of issues across cloud and SaaS ecosystems.
•Experience deploying and managing Snyk, Semgrep, and Qualys tools.
•Strong knowledge of AWS security practices and SRE principles; securing business technology stacks (Salesforce, ERP, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
•Proven ability to coach, mentor, and collaborate with development teams to improve remediation velocity; practical understanding of secure SDLC/PDLC, secrets management, and posture management tooling.
