Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of Power Distribution Solutions Application Engineers covering medium voltage and low voltage switchgear, busway, transformers, and modular solutions across FEED, quotation, and execution stages.
  • •Translate technical requirements into integrated Eaton solutions (including xModular systems, SCADA, PLC, and packaged substations) and ensure compliance with IEC 62271 series and customer specifications.
  • •Drive technical sales support for PDS BU equipment by collaborating with tendering, sales, BDMs, and custom order engineering teams.
  • •Oversee technical feasibility, clarification, and execution of multiple projects in parallel, ensuring timely delivery and technical alignment with customer expectations.
  • •Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, resolve complex technical issues, standardize through Digital Application Guides and SMART CDEs, and ensure clean handovers across quotation, order management, and manufacturing engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with electro-mechanical insights.
  • •Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the electrical industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • •Proven application engineering expertise in LV/MV switchgear, transformers, and modular systems.
  • •Strong understanding of data center and utilities applications, including engineering calculations, studies, and manufacturing methods.
  • •Industry certifications such as Uptime Institute Design and/or TIA-942 (preferred).
