Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data across many makes/models to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and maintaining service quality.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors at the shop and customer locations (travel when required).
  • •Maintain complete and timely daily electronic documentation (work orders) and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts; help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading/knowing schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (must be at least 21 to operate company vehicle).
