Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products that meet technical spec matrix requirements across performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure firmware subsystem meets quality, functional, and performance requirements during product integration milestones.
  • •Provide clear, consistent, detailed updates to management and multi-functional teams on firmware development activities.
  • •Collaborate with peers and management through open, constructive relationships and continuously improve team involvement, morale, and productivity.
  • •Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to improve efficiency/quality/effectiveness while exercising judgment and organizational/legal compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters/Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Excellent communication skills.
  • •4+ years of embedded firmware development and debugging.
  • •2+ years recent experience in storage industry, storage systems, or related technology.
  • •Expertise in programming languages (e.g., C, Rust) and tools/environments; experience in Python and storage interfaces (PCIe/NVMe) and NAND flash are advantages.
