Job Summary

Lead engineering projects to evaluate and improve completions equipment performance, cost, and reliability within the Completions and Wellbore Intervention Product Performance team. Provide technical guidance on DFM/DFR, execute design analysis, testing, and integration, and drive failure investigations and root-cause corrective actions. Partner with manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier quality teams across Asia Pacific, ensuring accurate technical documentation and contributing to technical/program reviews.

•Lead design, analysis, testing, and integration activities for assigned projects while adhering to engineering and product requirements.
•Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and technicians supporting assigned projects.
•Develop and execute test plans; analyze test data to draw conclusions and deliver actionable recommendations.
•Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations for completions equipment and implement effective corrective actions.
•Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier quality teams to improve product manufacturability, cost, and reliability; advise on DFM/DFR and maintain compliant technical documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (or related) or equivalent practical experience in oilfield equipment engineering.
•Minimum 6 years of experience in oilfield equipment with hands-on exposure to manufacturing, assembly, testing, product performance, or reliability engineering.
•Experience in failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and reliability improvement for downhole tools, resolving complex technical issues with limited data across cross-functional or field environments.
•Understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and design-for-manufacture (DFM) principles.
•Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks) for reviewing designs, tolerances, and manufacturing drawings.
