Job Summary

Operate and assist in maintaining the primary aggregate plant at the Pittston, PA quarry. Follow MSHA/OSHA/DOT safety procedures, complete daily safety assignments and pre-shift inspections, and run plant controls to start/stop crushers and feeders. Help maximize production, perform basic maintenance and repairs, mentor the ground team, coordinate truck dumping, and maintain records including crusher settings, downtime, tonnage, and greasing logs.

Key Responsibilities

•Adhere to safety rules and regulations (MSHA/OSHA/DOT) and Pennsy Supply policies.
•Conduct daily safety assignments and pre-shift/workplace examinations; report questionable materials and quality-affecting repairs.
•Operate plant controls by using a PC to start/stop primary control, crushers, and feeders; observe material movement through the crusher.
•Perform maintenance and repairs as needed, including relieving jams and using tools such as torque wrench, welder, and oxy/fuel torch.
•Maintain daily records (reports/charts, crusher settings, inspections, greasing logs, mechanical downtime, tonnage, and truck count) and coordinate truck dumping.

Key Requirements
