Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform mechanical engineering research and inspections to determine conformance of proposed/existing site conditions, equipment, resources, and mechanical systems to applicable rules, standards, and permits.
  • •Participate in advanced technology/modeling and concept development to support future-ready mechanical engineering design and operating strategies.
  • •Verify characteristics of sites and provide technical assistance for automatic temperature control, air distribution, hydronic, and plumbing systems.
  • •Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, visualizations, and documentation; maintain quality control and support Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related).
  • •3 to 5 years of relevant post-education engineering experience, including mechanical design experience.
  • •Engineer in Training certification.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design/build processes applied to project work.
  • •Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management, including rehabilitation and new design.
