Job Summary

Provide endoscopy-focused registered nursing care while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients’ needs. Ensure safe practice within UAE Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice, and licensure requirements; coordinate patient care with physicians and allied health; record and escalate changes in condition. Deliver education and emotional support to patients and families, maintain infection prevention and control, support training and competency development, and participate in quality improvement, audits, and governance activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including systematic patient assessment and re-assessment.
•Coordinate care with physicians and allied health staff, recording vital signs and escalating abnormalities promptly.
•Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and family members, including facilitating safe admission, transfer, and discharge.
•Administer medications and treatments (including IV fluids and blood products) and monitor for side effects and reactions.
•Maintain quality, governance, infection prevention and control, and occupational safety requirements; participate in audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement activities.

Key Requirements

•Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority qualifications and experience.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
•Manage professional re-licensure in a timely manner.
•Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
•Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
