Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze site and technical data from blueprints, schematics, drawings, flow diagrams, and reports for energy auditing actions, validation, and commissioning.
  • •Perform building and system commissioning activities through research and inspections to determine conformance with standards, codes, permits, and installation requirements.
  • •Develop and oversee configuration, testing specifications, and readiness plans, including checklists/punch lists, cost estimates, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate commissioning work across project phases and verify site characteristics while providing technical assistance for installation and integration issues.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams to execute concurrent projects, manage technical documentation and quality control, maintain safety plans, and provide guidance/training to junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline, or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience with building and systems commissioning.
  • •Proficiency in building commissioning principles, practices, and process across design/build projects.
  • •Extensive knowledge of smart building design and applicable codes, regulations, compliance, and record-keeping.
  • •Ability to plan and conduct inspections/investigations and perform technical calculations, computations, and validation/testing comparisons.
