Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide enterprise technical leadership and ownership for the mainframe platform, driving stability, availability, security, and performance improvements.
  • •Lead z/OS operating system upgrades, maintenance, and end-to-end system software lifecycle management.
  • •Architect and administer large-scale Parallel Sysplex environments to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance.
  • •Oversee installation, configuration, customization, and support of IBM and Broadcom (CA) products, establishing standards and governance for operations.
  • •Lead incident root cause analysis and resolution, serve as highest-level escalation, and coordinate DR planning/testing and production implementations during maintenance windows.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of hands-on experience in IBM z/OS Systems Programming.
  • •5+ years of experience leading Mainframe Infrastructure or Systems Programming teams.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale enterprise banking/financial services environments.
  • •Extensive experience with installation, customization, upgrade, maintenance, and support of IBM and Broadcom (CA) mainframe products.
  • •Strong expertise in Parallel Sysplex, high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise mainframe architecture, including tools/tech like SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, and RACF.
