Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate on high-impact projects with partnered AI labs to design scenarios and evaluate model outputs for accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • •Provide targeted feedback to improve performance across domains such as compliance, litigation, case law, and contract analysis.
  • •Co-author technical reports and research papers with Scale’s research team.
  • •Engage with an interdisciplinary network of researchers and thought leaders in frontier AI.
  • •Participate in an adaptable schedule with opportunities for professional development and publication.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80 - 100 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •JD, LLM, or currently enrolled in a prestigious 2L/3L program.
  • •Bar admission in any jurisdiction strongly preferred.
  • •Experience as Attorney/Associate, Legal Analyst, Counsel, Law Clerk, In-House Counsel, Legal Researcher, or Law Professor.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis of regulatory frameworks, constitutional law, case law interpretation, and drafting legal briefs.
  • •Detail-oriented, innovative thinker with a passion for financial technology; prior experience with AI is a plus.
