Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage projects through the full lifecycle and ensure goals are met for both Canonical and customers.
  • •Deliver engineering professional services for assigned projects.
  • •Work with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images to customers.
  • •Draft and maintain project schedules/plans, obtain client agreement, and manage scope, time, and resources.
  • •Drive technical issues, mitigate project risks, coordinate third-party deliverables, and provide ongoing status updates to management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid project management experience delivering engineering services to customers and coordinating software development teams and field engineers.
  • •Experience managing customer-facing projects with cross-cultural, multi-continent internal and external resources.
  • •Strong technical background with good knowledge of Linux and the wider open source software community, including understanding computer architecture.
  • •Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, plus strong leadership and partnership-building with demanding sponsors.
  • •PMP/PMI or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is preferred.
