Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive EHS compliance and safety culture with daily collaboration with site leadership, including inspections, audits, daily walks, and toolbox talks.
  • •Act as the onsite authority for EHS activities and model “Safety First” through a visible, engaged presence.
  • •Lead and mentor EHS Specialists and Safety Coordinators, including onboarding, training, and scheduling tasks.
  • •Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • •Manage EHS documentation, SDS inventories, metrics, and reporting cadence, and refine EHS processes and forms.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety (or related) or a BCSP certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST).
  • •8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in the construction industry.
  • •OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 strongly preferred.
  • •Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • •Experience with inspections, incident investigations, contractor safety, and safety training.
