Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate pipeline facilities from the control center and run multiple pipelines simultaneously
  • •Monitor and control pipeline operations through SCADA; detect and respond to abnormal pipeline conditions
  • •Coordinate safe and efficient transportation of refined petroleum products and specialty chemicals
  • •Schedule and process product movements by reviewing batch listings/schedules and updating pipeline schedulers during shifts
  • •Communicate critical information to field operators and respond to customer calls/emails, including scheduling barge/vessel/pipeline nominations

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree, Certification in Process Control, or 3 years of equivalent work experience
  • •Completion of (or ability to pass) the Operation Qualification test after training
  • •Three years terminal Operations/Maintenance experience, or five years of general industry experience
  • •Strong computer skills and proficiency with PC software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and databases
  • •Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift and be on-call/respond to call outs, including overtime as required
