Lead settlement and operational accounting reporting for gas marketing activities, ensuring accurate, timely results and alignment with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Supervise a team of settlement professionals, maintain strong controls, and partner with marketing, trading, and other stakeholders. Drive monthly financial results discussions, support contract interpretation, and improve processes through standardization and automation while contributing to audit support and ad-hoc business needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise employees handling financial accounting and account classification functions.
•Analyze accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and integrity of financial statements/reports.
•Monitor and maintain accounting and financial reporting systems; research and propose system changes to strengthen controls.
•Provide accounting treatment information and assistance to management, employees, regulators, and auditors (taxes, revenues, earnings, expenses, policies, and procedures).
•Compile, prepare, verify, and/or approve financial reports such as policies and procedures, earnings, revenues, investments, taxes, and budgets.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 123,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with treasury/accounting experience.
•Thorough knowledge of GAAP, company accounting methods, practices, and procedures.
•Experience with financial accounting, financial reporting, and account classification.
•Experience researching and interpreting company policies, FASB pronouncements, governmental regulations, rate case orders, and contracts.
•Experience supervising, directing, and training, with demonstrated supervisory/management skills.
