Key Responsibilities

  • •Define industry-leading benchmarking frameworks and representative workload suites for mobile and server scenarios.
  • •Characterize performance and behavior metrics (bandwidth, latency, QoS/tail latency, locality, working set, NUMA and cache interactions) and memory-level parallelism.
  • •Lead root-cause deep dives using PMU counters and performance tooling to identify bottlenecks in memory controller scheduling, DRAM timing, row-buffer locality, and cache/memory interaction.
  • •Drive architecture, firmware/BIOS, kernel, and application-level optimizations (NUMA, huge pages, memory policies, tuning) based on system-level tradeoffs.
  • •Establish predictive modeling and trace-driven workload replay frameworks, translate models into product requirements, and influence cross-stack optimization across application→OS→firmware→hardware.

Key Requirements

  • •15–24+ years of experience in memory systems, performance engineering, or system architecture.
  • •Proven expertise in workload analysis and workload characterization at scale for servers and mobiles.
  • •Strong programming experience with Python and C/C++ (system-level tooling).
  • •Deep benchmarking expertise using suites such as SPEC, MLPerf, and STREAM, plus Linux performance tools like perf and eBPF/PMU profiling.
