Job Summary

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems in a fresh food manufacturing environment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime, complete emergency work, and maintain optimal performance. Follow work orders and document maintenance in CMMS, support installations and upgrades, coordinate with Production and Sanitation, and comply with OSHA, USDA, food safety, and Tyson policies using LOTO and PPE.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
•Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly.
•Complete corrective and emergency maintenance work as assigned, including adjustments and part replacements.
•Follow work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in CMMS while complying with OSHA, USDA, food safety, and Tyson policies using LOTO and PPE.

Key Requirements

•6 months of previous general maintenance experience with a single employer within the past 12 months, or equivalent school training.
•Valid state driver’s license, with no DUI/DWI’s within the last 12 months.
•Understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
•Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders; use CMMS to document maintenance activities.
