Key Responsibilities

  • •Take full end-to-end ownership of navigation initiatives from design through production rollout, including quality, adoption, and customer impact after launch.
  • •Deliver maintainable, well-tested code and maintain high standards in design and code review; improve observability, testing, and production reliability.
  • •Design and ship features across mobile, backend services, and web, including driver navigation experiences, admin visibility, optimized routing, and safety-focused capabilities.
  • •Turn ambiguity into action by learning from fleet managers and drivers, aligning with product priorities, defining success metrics, planning milestones, and raising risks early.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, designers, and partners across Maps, Telematics, and adjacent teams to deliver cohesive experiences end to end.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • •6+ years of experience shipping customer-facing software in production across multiple surfaces (mobile, web, and/or backend).
  • •Depth in at least one surface with the ability to contribute effectively in others.
  • •Comfort using AI development tools with judgment in day-to-day engineering.
  • •Experience building mobile applications, including React Native; familiarity with Swift and Kotlin is a plus.
