Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Japan deal management by advising business development finance initiatives to build profitable and protected deals.
  • •Assist account/BD managers in complex deal structuring from initiation to closure, including regular reviews with account managers and leadership.
  • •Perform rigorous reviews, negotiations, and scenario analysis for business cases, including benchmark analysis and ROI/NPV reality checks.
  • •Guide the legal department on deal structures and business dynamics and ensure clearance of legal documentation.
  • •Provide extended business support by developing/monitoring strategic deal performance, identifying pricing/structuring opportunities, and championing deal management reporting with data integrity and on-time submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 6 years of relevant experience in business development partnering and financial modelling or Financial Performance & Analysis (FP&A).
  • •Experience in the payment industry and/or working at global companies is strongly preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP is highly preferred.
  • •Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others in a global, matrix organization.
  • •Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
