Job Summary

Partner with sourcing, product development, suppliers, and factory counterparts to engineer and govern product cost for apparel/footwear/equipment. Build cost estimates from construction and manufacturing assumptions, improve costing negotiation tools and rate cards, and strengthen costing data quality through system integration. Support in-factory analysis on material and process cost-driver changes, develop vendor cost-competitiveness KPIs, and translate technical findings into business-relevant recommendations for management.

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer product cost estimates using style construction, manufacturing process flow, labor content, and efficiency assumptions.
•Continuously improve negotiation tools such as cost breakdown templates, product cost matrices, and standard minute value calculators to support cost assessment.
•Support in-factory analysis on material, labor, productivity, process, and other cost-driver changes to inform margin expectations and design options.
•Execute and govern product minute rate cards to enable predictive costing across suppliers and teams.
•Partner cross-functionally to improve costing data quality, rate card adherence, and system integration; translate analysis into management updates and support pilot/continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•1–3 years of experience in costing, industrial engineering, production, sourcing, procurement, operations, or manufacturing.
•Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, or another quantitative/STEM field.
•Strong understanding of product construction, manufacturing processes, and cost drivers in apparel, footwear, or equipment.
•Familiarity with workflow study, SMV/SAM concepts, cost breakdowns, or factory costing processes is an advantage.
•Strong Excel capability and proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.
