Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor legislative and regulatory developments for ICT, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, data protection, and digital services, and assess business impact across operating markets.
  • •Maintain and update the regulatory obligations register/compliance universe, map mandates to business lines/legal entities, and support prioritisation reviews.
  • •Manage the lifecycle of licences, registrations, permits, and authorizations, including preparing and tracking applications, renewals, amendments, and regulatory filings.
  • •Support regulator engagement across the region, including correspondence, information requests, inspections, and audits; prepare consultation responses in coordination with leadership.
  • •Advise business teams on regulatory requirements affecting deals and solutions, and support compliance operations through frameworks, remediation tracking, reporting, and regulatory awareness/training materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5–7 years of regulatory affairs experience, with a significant portion in ICT, telecommunications, cloud, or technology.
  • •Experience with ICT/technology regulation across the GCC and wider Middle East, including licensing regimes, data protection/data residency, cybersecurity regulation, and cloud frameworks.
  • •Familiarity with regional regulators and frameworks (e.g., TDRA, CST/NCA/SDAIA, CITRA, TRA, TRC, NTRA) and emerging AI governance instruments.
  • •Experience managing licence applications, regulatory filings, and regulator relationships in a multi-country or group environment (preferred).
  • •Fluency in English (required); professional proficiency in Arabic (preferred), plus strong analytical, drafting, and stakeholder management skills; Bachelor’s degree in Law or related discipline (legal qualification/postgraduate advantage).
