Job Summary

Partner with customers on their sales journey by delivering live demos, sales presentations, and outcome-focused POCs that showcase how Okta Workforce Identity fits their architecture and use cases. In the Global Innovation Center Presales team, you’ll maintain deep product knowledge across Okta and underlying protocols, communicate complex solutions to technical and executive audiences, and occasionally support local/regional events as a presenter.

Key Responsibilities

•Support customers along their sales journey with live demonstrations and sales presentations.
•Sell directly to IT managers, developers, product managers, and occasionally more senior executives across industries.
•Focus on Okta Workforce Identity and model how it supports customer architecture requirements and use cases.
•Execute well-defined, outcome-focused POCs.
•Maintain broad and deep technical understanding of the Okta product line and underlying technologies and protocols.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer.
•Hands-on expertise in IAM including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access, and device access.
•Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
•Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions using white-boarding, practical examples, and product demonstrations.
•Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, customer support, or pre-sales.
