Key Responsibilities

  • •Design traffic engineering deliverables for signing/pavement markings and traffic signals as part of highway transportation projects.
  • •Create traffic CAD designs, including signing/marking design and traffic signal design.
  • •Support alternative delivery projects and participate on large Design/Build engagements.
  • •Apply knowledge of AASHTO Green Book and MUTCD guidance to produce compliant designs.
  • •Scale responsibilities from junior through mid-level and senior/task lead contributions based on experience level.

Key Requirements

  • •Have BS in Engineering (or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience) for junior, mid-level, or senior/task lead traffic engineering roles.
  • •For CAD Designer roles: have a BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •Experience on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery highway transportation projects.
  • •Experience with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads.
  • •Experience with signing/pavement marking design and/or traffic signal design, including complex interchanges preferred.
