Key Responsibilities

  • •Review supplier test reports and inspection/test plans, ensuring approvals from domestic or international clients.
  • •Inspect raw material and fabricated piping-related components (pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, structures, pressure vessels) for assigned projects.
  • •Conduct inspection/QC activities at supplier or Emerson plants, including witness of identification/testing, welding/fabrication, NDE, dimensional testing, hydro testing, and FAT, per codes and specifications.
  • •Support ISO activities (quality management certification/surveillance audits), quality standards adherence, and compliance in internal/project/external audits.
  • •Investigate and close quality issues (including nonconformances), report supplier/fabricator quality performance (e.g., via material NCR), and support continuous improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or bachelor’s in mechanical, production engineering, or related discipline (other graduates with relevant core quality experience may be considered).
  • •4 to 8 years of experience in quality.
  • •Experience in oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, major fabrication, or EPC/third-party inspection agency work.
  • •NDT Level II in ultrasonic testing, radiography testing, and penetrant testing.
  • •Welding inspector certification (CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, or equivalent) and coating certifications (NACE/BGAS); NDT Level III preferred; ISO 9001:2015 auditor experience a plus.
