Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines while operating and loading equipment for movement of raw material to and around the plant.
  • •Safely drive and maneuver vehicles into position for loading and dumping materials.
  • •Conduct daily equipment inspections, visually inspect/test machinery, and monitor and maintain fluid levels.
  • •Grease/oil equipment and perform minor repairs; dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired parts.
  • •Assist with stockpiling materials and removing buildup around quarry crushers, beltlines, and reclaimers; complete additional assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduation or equivalent is required.
  • •Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs.
  • •Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as load and/or haul truck, or related experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate large vehicles.
  • •Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, driving, climbing equipment, working in confined spaces, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
