Key Responsibilities

  • •Install electrical segments in production equipment such as mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, plant air systems, and lighting.
  • •Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair electrical equipment including solid state circuits, circuit boards, components, and complex timing/inspection devices.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems and equipment.
  • •Program logic controls (PLC) for proper equipment operation and coordinate to resolve inefficiencies and potential electrical problems.
  • •Assure safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations, including ability to work overtime if needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Broad training in a related field, usually via an Associate's Degree or equivalent electronics work experience.
  • •3-5 years of job-related experience minimum.
  • •Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, including HMI and industrial electrical networking.
  • •Working knowledge of assigned equipment and electrical systems including wiring diagrams/schematics and solid state circuitry.
  • •Knowledge of hazardous material handling, confined spaces, safety practices, and basic NEC (National Electrical Code).
