Job Summary

Program and operate advanced CNC machines to produce precision, high-tolerance components for autonomous defense platforms. Read blueprints and CAD models, build CNC programs using CAM software, and run multi-axis milling and turning equipment. Design custom workholding/fixturing, troubleshoot and optimize machining for quality and throughput, and perform GD&T-aligned in-process and final inspections. Collaborate with engineers to support rapid R&D and short-run production while following defense safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to develop precise CNC programs.
•Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using CAM software to produce complex, high-tolerance components.
•Design and implement custom workholding and fixturing solutions to optimize machining efficiency and accuracy.
•Operate advanced CNC systems (including 5-axis mills, live tooling lathes, mill-turns, and multi-tasking machines) to deliver mission-critical parts.
•Perform troubleshooting, real-time program adjustments, and in-process/final quality checks to meet GD&T standards, while maintaining CNC equipment and collaborating with engineers for rapid R&D and production cycles.
