Job Summary

Serve customers in a Financial Center as a Personal Banker Associate I, using a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to identify needs and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Proactively reach out using approved marketing tools, cross-sell to existing customers, and support referrals with business partners. Process teller transactions, guide CSRs on sales/referrals, and meet production and customer experience goals while following risk and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions using the bank value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell and engage in outside sales activities; establish relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and refer customers appropriately.
•Process teller transactions and support financial center production and customer experience goals while following risk, confidentiality, and conduct policies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to learn and perform sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
