Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and build the real-time decisioning and model-orchestration platform for financial crime prevention.
  • •Translate financial-crime policy and customer-outcome requirements into deterministic, explainable, auditable technical decisions.
  • •Architect resilient runtimes that select execution capabilities, sequence/parallelism, and calibrate traceable outputs.
  • •Engineer low-latency, highly available distributed systems with time budgets, fallbacks, circuit breakers, and safe degradation.
  • •Lead technical direction across model execution orchestration and decision strategy; mentor engineers and automate delivery/operations from CI/CD through testing, replay, rollback, and controlled releases.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience delivering critical production code and reference implementations as part of real-time decisioning/model-orchestration platforms.
  • •Deep mastery of Java or Python, including high-performance services and concurrency with distributed workflow/orchestration engines.
  • •Experience designing low-latency distributed systems, including APIs/event contracts, schema evolution, idempotency, back-pressure, timeouts, retries, and graceful degradation.
  • •Cloud-native engineering experience using Kafka (or equivalent streaming platforms), containers, and Kubernetes.
  • •Ability to operate comfortably in a highly regulated environment and communicate technical ideas clearly to business and senior leaders.
