Job Summary

Lead CRH’s liquid asphalt business unit with end-to-end accountability for liquid procurement, risk management, profitability, and growth. Oversee wholesale procurement and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, manage procurement personnel, and optimize supply and storage/terminal efficiencies to improve margins, EBITDA, and P&L performance. Drive the 5-year liquid asphalt strategic plan, manage commodity price volatility through hedging and contracting, and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead strategy, execution, and day-to-day operations of the liquid asphalt business unit.
•Provide guidance and oversight of liquid asphalt purchasing activities to ensure optimal sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost efficiency.
•Manage wholesale liquid asphalt procurement, including supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, purchase approvals, and procurement personnel.
•Optimize supply position and storage/terminal efficiencies to improve liquid asphalt margins, profitability, and EBITDA.
•Manage financial and market risk tied to liquid asphalt cost fluctuations, including hedging strategies and proactive mitigation of commodity price volatility.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
•10+ years of progressive leadership experience in wholesale liquid procurement, commodity trading, or chemical/fuel/beverage/agricultural liquids supply chain.
•Proven track record managing profitability and margin performance within a broader P&L structure and delivering measurable financial results.
•Experience developing and implementing a commodity risk management program is preferred.
•Strong background in operational excellence across liquid handling, storage best practices, and process optimization.
