Key Responsibilities

•Draft, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements across entertainment content creation, production, marketing, and distribution.
•Support senior attorneys across practice groups spanning music, entertainment, sports, technology, advertising, and console/online/mobile gaming.
•Structure and analyze deals involving rights held by third parties such as distributors, hardware manufacturers, sports leagues, record labels, music publishers, talent, and technology licensors.
•Advise internal clients on general business and contract issues, and on matters including copyright, technology, corporate, and regulatory issues.
•Provide day-to-day legal and business affairs counsel to creative business units and assess risks in complex, fast-paced matters.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 133,900 - 198,160 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5+ years’ experience in-house or within a law firm.
•Expertise in contracting with excellent drafting skills.
•Experience with complex corporate or intellectual property transactions (content creation, production, clearance, marketing, and distribution).
•Ability and desire to evaluate and advise on complex agreements and contractual issues.
•Qualified and in good standing with the State Bar of New York.
