Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on ready-mix trucks, end dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
  • •Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
  • •Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment, including overhauling major components such as engines, transmissions, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Test, operate, and fine-tune equipment for optimal efficiency and safety; use precision instruments for parts examinations.
  • •Document time and parts records, maintain safe work practices, and mentor team members during cleaning, assembly, and disassembly.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a plus.
  • •Minimum 3–6 months of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Have or be able to obtain ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or B) (preferred).
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check; be 18 years or older.
  • •Basic hand tools and sockets up to 1/2 inch; comply with OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
