Key Responsibilities

  • •Define Oyster’s long-term editorial and category strategy across Marketing, executive leadership, Product, People, Legal, and customer-facing teams.
  • •Own a multi-year editorial roadmap and flagship research/thought-leadership portfolio linked to company strategy.
  • •Architect and govern AI-first reusable systems for research, brand voice, fact-checking, source verification, repurposing, evaluation, and reporting.
  • •Set the operating model for executive publishing and advise leaders on arguments Oyster should make publicly.
  • •Turn proprietary employment data into an original research programme and mobilize communications channels (newsletter, podcast, events, PR) around shared narratives.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in content, editorial, or brand journalism with senior ownership of a brand narrative or thought-leadership program at a B2B technology company.
  • •Proven ability to set a company or category narrative that changed decisions and earned external authority adopted across teams.
  • •A portfolio demonstrating work that earned attention through citations, quotations, debate, or organic sharing.
  • •Demonstrated AI-first practice beyond drafting, including agents, custom workflows, evaluation, QA, governance, and adoption by others.
  • •Exceptional English-language editorial judgment across writing, editing, sourcing, and voice control.
