Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the technical vision for NAND structural and electrical film processes, with impact across top-level organizational boundaries.
  • •Lead end-to-end programs for process development breakthroughs in advanced thin films.

  • •Mentor senior technical leaders and contribute to roadmap decisions that differentiate Micron’s products.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •20+ years of experience in thin film R&D for NAND processes, specifically diffusion, CVD, dielectric and carbon-based films.
  • •Industry recognition through patents, publications, invited talks, and leadership roles in technical committees or consortia.
  • •Mastery of ALD/CVD (plasma and thermal) processes and expertise in reliability modeling, process-device correlation, and failure analysis across generations.
  • •Advanced electrical evaluation (leakage, breakdown, capacitance, impedance) and metrology including atom probe tomography and in-line defect mapping with SPC.
