Key Responsibilities

  • •Support hardware verification and execution across the product lifecycle from design verification testing through environmental qualification, production acceptance, and ground/flight test.
  • •Ensure hardware meets system-level requirements and technical performance metrics (TPMs) before fielding.
  • •Plan, execute, and document verification activities in accordance with the program Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
  • •Develop and maintain verification evidence using requirements traceability from system requirements to component-level evidence.
  • •Read and interpret qualification test reports, certificates of conformance, and supplier technical data packages to support verification decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering/technical field.
  • •7+ years in systems engineering, hardware qualification, or test & evaluation in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated industries.
  • •Direct experience supporting environmental qualification testing for electronic/electromechanical hardware (e.g., LRUs, avionics, actuators).
  • •Working knowledge of MIL-STD-810 plus familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464, and understanding of MIL-STD-704 as it applies to aircraft power characteristics.
  • •Experience with V&V planning (VCRMs, test plans, verification evidence packages), requirements traceability, and using requirements management tools (Jama, DOORS, Polarion).
