Job Summary

Provide evaluation and specialist occupational therapy interventions to adult and paediatric patients in a chronic, specialist rehabilitation home care setting. Manage a caseload of complex cases using evidence-based, client-centered plans to assess, treat, and promote independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support and supervise less experienced therapists, contribute to education and continuous improvement, and ensure safety, infection control, and proper documentation of adverse events and incidents.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate and treat patients of all ages by delivering occupational therapy interventions for physical recovery and emotional wellbeing.
•Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client interventions using evidence-based and client-centered principles to reduce disability impact and promote independence.
•Manage complex caseloads and provide leadership, advice, support, and training to therapists, including supervision and performance management.
•Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, clients, and family; contribute to education programs and continuing education activities.
•Ensure quality and safety compliance by recording adverse clinical events, documenting/reporting hazards and incidents, and adhering to infection control and OSH procedures.

Key Requirements

•Valid DOH/DHA/MOH (Tier 1 Country Health) license to practice occupational therapy in the UAE.
•Graduate from an approved college or university in occupational therapy.
•Minimum 3–4 years’ experience practicing occupational therapy.
•Excellent command of oral and written English (Arabic advantageous/desirable).
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver evidence-based, client-centered assessments and interventions.
