Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • •Support manufacturing facilities, including remote support of worldwide manufacturing facilities.
  • •Assist with coordination of new equipment installation and implementation, including MES integration events.
  • •Maintain and update manufacturing process tool electrical drawings and document equipment changes.
  • •Implement new software changes/upgrades specified by the Controls Engineering Department and identify/control solutions for continuous improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of manufacturing equipment electrical/electronic/controls experience.
  • •Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Controls, or Electronic Engineering (or 5+ years verifiable related field experience).
  • •Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems in a manufacturing environment and interpret data to reach conclusions.
  • •Competence in Autodesk AutoCAD to create electrical schematic and panel layouts.
  • •Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs and HMI (FactoryTalk View ME; Proface a plus), including at least two control networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and/or Ethernet).
