•Design and build experimental prototypes and production-grade security systems in areas like AI/agent safety, AI-powered threat detection, and advanced security analytics.
•Work with mentors on rapid exploration sprints by framing hypotheses, designing experiments, running evaluations, and iterating quickly.
•Translate real-world requirements from cross-functional teams into practical, high-impact security solutions.
•Participate across the full lifecycle of security initiatives, contributing to each phase of short-term projects.
•Turn cutting-edge ideas into working code with an emphasis on scalable, secure-by-design systems.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate (BS/MS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Security, AI, or another STEM discipline.
•Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and networking.
•Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
•Experience writing automated tests, performing code reviews, and debugging to ensure code quality and reliability.
•Experience in areas like AI/agent safety, model evaluation/red teaming, threat intelligence, security analytics, detection engineering, system hardening, or security automation.
