Job Summary

Own the end-to-end sales process for Plaid’s Credit solutions, engaging a curated list of lenders that don’t yet work with Plaid and driving partnership opportunities. You’ll manage a high-potential prospect book, forecast pipeline and win probability, and coordinate cross-functional resources across sales engineers and product specialists. You’ll also deepen understanding of Plaid’s APIs to tailor solutions that help lenders approve more borrowers and reduce portfolio risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify opportunities where Plaid solutions deliver value to prospective and existing lending customers
•Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential engaged prospects to meet quota
•Own the end-to-end sales cycle and coordinate sales engineers, product specialists, and team members
•Coordinate cross-functional resources to support a consultative sales motion
•Manage pipeline and accurately forecast deal value and win probability

Salary: USD 285,108 - 303,600 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in a quota-carrying direct sales role with a strong track record of attainment, preferably in consumer lending or credit
•Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills with a consultative, customer-centric approach
•Working knowledge of APIs and interest in understanding how Plaid works 'under the hood'
•Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
•Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels without being perceived as 'salesy'
