Job Summary

Support Fifth Third Securities Institutional Brokerage operations for fixed income, equity, and money market activities. Under minimal supervision, assist internal teams and sophisticated clients with onboarding, trading workflows, settlement obligations, account maintenance, CIP/AML checks, collateral processing, reporting, and risk monitoring. Work across broker-dealer, NFS/Pershing, and third-party systems (ACE, Wealthscape, NetX360, Bloomberg TOMS) while adhering to securities laws and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as front-line operational support between management and lines of business (Middle Office, Compliance, IT, Trading, Accounting) and third-party vendors.
•Monitor and assist with allocation/affirmation and issue confirmations; oversee operational functions within the Money Market Navigator platform.
•Perform AML/Beneficial Ownership CIP checks and accurately input documentation into ACE and NFS/Pershing systems.
•Handle account maintenance, brokerage entitlements, collateral processing, and high-dollar movement tracking through release.
•Produce daily reports, monitor trade settlement/margin/risk exposure concerns, support compliance and audits, and provide guidance to junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
•Securities Industry Essential (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63/66 required.
•Experience in a Financial Operations role (3+ years preferred).
•Experience working with brokerage accounts (3-5 years preferred).
•Knowledge of fixed income, equity, and mutual fund trading, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
