Job Summary

Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and operate Core services powering foundational Rocket Money systems such as authentication, data privacy workflows, AI enablement, and internal tooling. You will own end-to-end projects, collaborate with product, data, and operations teams, improve reliability and observability, define platform patterns, and contribute through design docs and RFCs while leveraging AI-assisted tooling in a large, hybrid, fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and operate Core services and platforms that power foundational systems (authentication, data privacy workflows, AI enablement, internal tooling).
•Own projects end-to-end from problem definition to rollout and ongoing reliability.
•Partner with product engineers, data teams, and operations to create safe, scalable, and pleasant-to-use systems.
•Improve reliability and observability across critical workflows by instrumenting services and addressing production issues.
•Write clear design docs and RFCs, participate in code reviews, and contribute to a culture of thoughtful feedback and continuous improvement.

•7+ years of professional experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React (or similar framework), and PostgreSQL (GraphQL a plus)

•Interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows and using tooling to accelerate development
