Support Mastercard’s tax accounting and reporting by preparing interim and annual tax provisions and SEC disclosures (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), including ASC 740 calculations and tax adjustments for the consolidated US federal tax return. Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, prepare US GAAP effective tax rate analysis, and contribute to global provision analytics and documentation under Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Key Responsibilities

•Prepare corporate income tax provision calculations (ASC 740) and ensure tax balances are accurately recorded in financial statements.
•Support preparation of SEC tax disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including annual effective tax rate for US GAAP.
•Prepare consolidated provision and consolidated federal tax returns, including tax adjustments and compliance filings.
•Perform monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliations and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation aligned to internal controls.
•Conduct tax technical research, collaborate with Tax, Controllership, Treasury, FP&A and other teams, and drive process improvements.

Key Requirements

•BA in Accounting; CPA preferred.
•Experience with tax provision and tax reporting, ideally in a large corporate setting or Big 4 with tax provision/reporting emphasis.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets.
•Proficiency with MS Excel and data analytics tools (including MS Power Platform and Alteryx).
•Experience with tax provision/return software such as OneSource Tax Provision and familiarity with OneSource/Corptax or similar tools.
