Senior SAP infrastructure expert to design, operate, and evolve hybrid data center and public cloud infrastructure powering Allianz’s SAP landscapes. Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate hybrid data center and cloud platforms hosting SAP workloads (HANA, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori) ensuring availability, performance, and cost efficiency
•Engineer HA/DR architectures (HANA System Replication, cluster frameworks, multi-AZ/region), backup/restore strategies, and recovery testing for mission-critical SAP systems
•Plan and execute platform upgrades, migrations, and re-platforming activities (e.g., OS/DB migrations, cloud landing zones, network connectivity such as ExpressRoute/VPN) with minimal downtime
•Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using Terraform and Ansible, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
•Implement and monitor SLIs/SLOs using SAP Focused Run and cloud-native tools (e.g., Azure Log Analytics, CloudWatch)

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience engineering hybrid data center and public cloud infrastructure for SAP workloads at enterprise scale
•Strong background in Linux administration (SUSE / Red Hat), virtualization (VMware), networking (routing, firewalls, load balancing), and storage for SAP environments
•Proven experience designing and operating HA/DR solutions for SAP HANA and S/4HANA
•Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), scripting (Bash/Python), and Git-based CI/CD workflows
•Strong cloud expertise in Azure and/or AWS for SAP platforms, including landing zones, VNet/VPC, ExpressRoute/VPN, security groups, managed disks, and Azure NetApp Files
