Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver supply chain and commercial assurance commissions by reviewing and scrutinising actual incurred costs and supporting senior colleagues in assurance reviews.
  • •Undertake assurance reviews across construction projects, assessing supply chain systems, processes, and contract administration for compliance and control effectiveness.
  • •Identify risks and opportunities and develop practical recommendations to strengthen assurance arrangements and improve project outcomes.
  • •Analyze complex construction contracts and commercial matters, including variations, claims, compensation events, forecasting, risk allocation, and commercial performance.
  • •Engage with the supply chain, review client commercial controls and governance structures, and contribute to bids and internal training/service line refinement.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience or strong understanding of construction, commercial, or accountancy assurance/audit work.
  • •Technical construction industry knowledge, including procurement routes and cost entitlement/target price concepts.
  • •Contract management experience, with NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
  • •Ability to assess accuracy and entitlement to costs, including change management and forecast control.
  • •Data analysis and report writing skills, with PowerBI/Tableau experience preferred.
