  • •Execute single and multiple analytical, microbiological, or quality system procedures within a Food Safety Laboratory.
  • •Ensure precision and accuracy in performing work instructions and collecting data.
  • •Maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.
  • •Successfully complete initial proficiency testing and demonstrate competency verified at least annually.
  • •Demonstrate continued proficiency and growth following training; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required; college-level coursework or a degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, and/or Physical Sciences is preferred.

  • •General knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • •Be able to stand and/or sit continuously and perform full-shift physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
