Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, coordinate, and monitor utility plant activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant systems.
  • •Oversee operation and chemical treatment of industrial water systems; supervise steam, water, and condensate analyses.
  • •Coordinate activities with other Engineering divisions and report to maintenance manager.
  • •Use computer to create, edit technical and administrative correspondence, reports, and operating procedures; document operations activities and incident reports.
  • •Plan, schedule, and monitor work by contractors and physical plant staff within area of responsibility; ensure proper documentation and compliance with GMP/HACCP/QRMP.

Key Requirements

  • •Must-have: Strong supervisory experience in utility plant operations (boilers, water systems, condensate and steam) and ability to oversee multiple systems.
  • •Experience with GMP, HACCP, and QRMP guidelines; knowledge or implementation experience with FSSC 22000 is preferred.
  • •Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor contractor and staff activities within a defined area of responsibility.
  • •Proficiency in documentation and reporting; ability to create and edit technical/administrative correspondence and procedures.
