Key Responsibilities

  • •Overseeing the day-to-day metallurgical performance of the plant and being involved in optimizing the SAG/Ball mills and copper/molybdenum flotation circuits.
  • •Development of operational guidelines, providing technical information and training for Operations.
  • •Development and execution of mill operational projects.
  • •Preparation and publishing of daily and monthly metallurgical reports.
  • •Monitoring Mill consumables (reagents, steel) and investigation of process issues to optimize efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Metallurgical, Mineral Processing, Chemical or related Engineering and enrolled (or eligible to enroll) as an EIT with EGBC
  • •0-3 years base metal mineral processing experience
  • •Experience with crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, solvent extraction and electrowinning is an asset
  • •Good working knowledge of MS Office with ability to perform basic programming in Excel
  • •Driver’s license valid in Canada
