Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for customers in a commercial market, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems on-site. Coordinate with team leaders and customers, diagnose issues using air conditioning theory and mechanical layouts, and follow blueprints and engineering specifications. Maintain safety and accountability of company equipment, while supporting flexible overtime/weekend work and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and starting up equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
•Use cutting-edge software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and record use, wear, and conditions to maintain security and accountability of company/procured assets.

Salary: USD 28.96 - 39.02 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (e.g., DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to coordinate on-site installation and repairs, forecast issues, and synchronize materials and work.
