Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop civil and structural designs from conceptual to detailed design stages, providing sustainable and efficient solutions.
  • •Establish design basis, technical specifications/philosophies, and scope for tender documents/narratives; review plant layouts, roads, drainage, and interpret topographical/geotechnical reports.
  • •Check calculations and engineering deliverables including general arrangement, detail drawings, 3D models, and MTO; guide design of concrete and steel structures with engineering calculations.
  • •Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers/designers, allocate tasks, provide guidance/directions, and supervise discipline personnel day to day.
  • •Manage civil/structural progress, budgets, productivity, and risks; coordinate with stakeholders (clients, contractors, procurement/construction/other disciplines) and support site technical queries, safety/design reviews, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./B.Tech in Civil from a reputable institution.
  • •15+ years of relevant experience with engineering consultancies for design and engineering of mineral beneficiation/material handling systems (concept through detailed design and execution).
  • •Experience across phosphate-related projects (Phosphate-Beneficiation, Phosphate Granularization, Phosphoric and Sulphuric Acid) including conceptualisation, feasibility, FEED, and execution.
  • •Professional Engineer Certification or a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).
  • •Familiarity with civil/structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro Connect Edition, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, and 3D model review tools (e.g., SPR, Navisworks) plus MS Office Suite.
