Job Summary

Build and maintain mobile-friendly progressive web applications that support custom enterprise tools. Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain full-stack web applications using React (frontend) and Node.js with Express.js or NestJS (backend) for Emerson’s custom enterprise tools.
•Implement PWA capabilities including service workers, web app manifests, offline-first caching, push notifications, and installability across devices and network conditions.
•Build and maintain Node.js RESTful APIs for web and mobile-optimized clients, designing endpoints for performance and mobile payload efficiency.
•Design and maintain MongoDB collections, schemas, and queries using NoSQL data modeling best practices.
•Apply the full SDLC: development, testing, deployment, production support; collaborate in Agile and troubleshoot issues across Node.js, MongoDB, and React/PWA layers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•3–5 years of full-stack web development experience with hands-on delivery in Node.js and React.
•Solid experience building Node.js REST API services using Express.js or NestJS, including routing, middleware, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), and API versioning.
•Strong proficiency in React, including component design, hooks, state management (Redux or Context API), and responsive, mobile-optimized interfaces with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
•Hands-on PWA experience (service workers, web app manifest, offline caching with Cache API/Workbox, push notifications, and installability) plus experience with MongoDB (document design, CRUD, indexing, aggregation pipelines).
